Tricasater setup / camera setup Information

To more desk
- 1 USB connection from each monitor that goes from the monitor to the Tricast

- 1 pair of RCA cables to bring hte sound from the tricaster to the speakers

Wiring to Monitor:

- HDMI out from tricaster to splitter, which feeds the right noitor and the large LCD Monitor

- Make sure that the LCD Monitor is turned on before you boot the tricaster (or you will get flickering until the monitors figure everything out - this will not hurt anything, but looks wierd)

on camera:

- camera now records on 720/60P. (frame size is 720, frames per second is 60)

- click menu then rec/media, then rec/format should be 720/60P 

- HDMI out on the camera now matches 720/60P: click menu > setup > HDMI Resolution, set to 720p/480p

On tricaseter

- all sessions need to be created in 720/60P (every new one)

- good because: uses less hard drive space, and its progressive.  If this ever goes to the web, this will look nice and clean (no wierd interlacing)

- everything is progressive now (what does this mean?)

- Once a session is opened, click hte gear on any camera inputs and

   - click on gear

   - change connection type to 720P Component

   - do that on all cameras

play a video in a broadcast

- chrome/internet
- play on sports manager (bookmarked)
    - cms.playonsports.com
    - username = jhilliard@carmelhs.org
    - password= broadcast
(For weird screen problem: right click, screen resolution, change multiple displays: show desktop only on one)
-play on sports producer
   - video device= elgato
   - preset=640X360_846kbps
Video Sources:
in playonproducer, click on video sources tab, and click add in the lower left corner
Select the video from the file
To add video, go to media on the playonsports toolbar
Open videos folder, and drag/copy video into the folder

Once on air:
go to video sources file-highlight the video you want to play-press play
The video plays right away until it ends or you hit stop and then returns directly back to the live stream
To be safe, turn off/unplug microphones during video
